Dor-2-Dor are sponsoring Will Frankling, Mike Frankling & Phil Attle on their 3 day, 200 mile, charity bike ride from London to Paris starting on September 12th 2014.

As part of this ride they guys will be trying to raise money for the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance and the Multiple Sclerosis Society. If you are interested in donating to these great causes please click the link at the bottom of this article. Any donation will be greatly received. They will be sporting the Dor-2-Dor branded cycling jerseys on their ride, so if you see them while you’re out make sure you give them a wave or a beep.

The guys will have a long ride ahead of them over the 3 days and it will consist of the following:

Day 1 London to Newhaven – Approx 65 Miles

The challenge begins at Victoria Coach Station, London at 10am where they will meet their fellow participants. From Victoria, they cycle to their starting point in Trafalgar Square for 11am. They will travel out of London and towards the south coast of England. At Brighton, they head east along the coast to Newhaven where they will catch the night ferry.

Day 2 – Dieppe to Beauvais – Approx 75 miles

Arriving in Dieppe in the early hours, it is time for the toughest part of the challenge. With head torches on they will start cycling through the darkness on The Avenue Verte cycle track to Forges-les-Eaux in time for breakfast. After breakfast they continue their journey until they reach their overnight stop in Beauvais, hopefully arriving early afternoon (legs permitting) so they will have some time to enjoy the town before the final push to Paris in the morning.

Day 3 Beauvais to Paris – Approx 55 miles

The final day takes them into the heart of Paris via Pontoise, where their cycling adventure concludes at La Tour Eiffel. They aim to arrive there by early afternoon so they can celebrate their cross-channel triumph in a Parisian restaurant or bar.

We wish them all luck with this epic bike ride and look forward to seeing them crossing the finish line on September 14th 2014.

As mentioned above, the two charities they are hoping to raise money for are the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

If you would like to sponsor them please visit the link below where you can donate, any amount donated would be greatly appreciated, however big or small.
