When sisters Karen Egan and Wendy Compagno, from the Buckinghamshire/Hertfordshire border branch of Molly Maid, realised that their current leaflet distributor just wasn’t quite up to the challenge they contacted Dor-2-Dor.

In an interview about the new marketing strategy they said “We wanted to expand our leaflet distribution to cover new areas of our territory, raise awareness and secure new clients. Our local DOR-2-DOR representative is very good, always polite and most importantly he is helping us achieve our marketing objectives.”

Originally founded in Canada, Molly Maid was the first franchise opportunity of its kind. In 1985, the domestic maid cleaning company arrived in the United Kingdom and their professional personalized cleaning service was well received. Today, there are approximately 70 franchises in operation servicing a large national client base at our local level. Leafleting has played an important part in launching each of these new businesses, and maintaining its profile on a local basis.

From the start, Karen and Wendy chose leaflets to advertise their business, and two years on, successful advertising, effective service delivery and positive word of mouth have combined to see the business grow and staff levels double.

The sisters went on to say, “Head Office provides us with good marketing support to consistently market the cleaning chain nationally. The DL, full colour leaflets are supplied by them, with our local contact details included. Every month/six weeks, 8000 leaflets are distributed in Berkhamstead and surrounding villages. We have consistently had regular enquiries, and new customers have resulted.”
