Their brand says clean, consistent and professional and their standards of excellence have seen them grow to service 2 million homes every year, worldwide. Lin Huckfield took over the Worcester Molly Maid franchise in 2007. Previously she was working as an Administrator for the Civil War Museum in Worcester. Upon hearing the franchise was up for sale, Lin knew she was ready for a new challenge and contacted the then owner to discuss terms for purchasing the business. The Worcester franchise was in a healthy state with a good number of clients and a reliable team of experienced staff so although it was big learning curve, she could hit the ground running.

In autumn 2008 Lin started using DOR-2-DOR Worcester, to promote Molly Maid in an increasingly competitive market. Prior to contacting Franchise Owner David Molyneux she had used a major national leaflet distributor but found them to be not cost effective and inflexible. Lin says: “When the credit crunch hit, the need to effectively target householders and ramp up the marketing was stronger than ever. Molly Maid Head Office advocated consistent marketing via the letterbox, so with David’s help; we have been leafleting regularly and reaping the benefits.” Since we started we have been approached by other companies who have quoted us cheaper rates but having used David, I am happy to pay for the premium service he provides because of the peace of mind it affords me and the great results it produces.” There lies the kinship between Molly Maid and DOR-2-DOR, neither company professes to be the cheapest in their industry however trustworthiness, reliability and tried and tested systems are the cornerstones of both organisations.

“Within a 25 mile radius of Worcester.”

What results did you see?
“I have seen a vast difference in the number of enquiries since we started using DOR-2-DOR. The response has been brilliant; I am always getting calls from the leaflets David delivers on our behalf. Without effective leaflet marketing my business would not be where it is now. The leaflets have also served to help us recruit more staff.”
