Leaflet Distribution Case Study

Davis Tate

Award winning Estate Agency Davis Tate has over 100 testimonials on their website, from property buyers, sellers and landlords, all of whom felt compelled to share their positive experience of the organisation. Founding Directors Matthew Davis and David Tate first established their business in 1991; now, in 2012, they currently have 60 employees staffing 10 high street offices, with 4 personal estate agents, thereby covering 14 networked areas across Berkshire and Oxfordshire. Providing premium sales and lettings services, Davis Tate specialise in re-sale, rental, new homes and land developments. The long-standing agency prides itself on its reputation among its industry for excellence, both internally and externally – on-going training, rapid career progression and adaptable working has led to a loyalty base of long-standing staff members, and a Sunday Times Best Employer award.

When Marketing Manager Tanya Wicks joined the company two years ago she was struck by the hands-on approach of Matthew and David and the long-standing loyalty base of their staff.

She says:

“Davis Tate is an extended family of hard-working caring property professionals, who live within the communities we serve – our differentiation is that we are local, experienced and truly networked; every single property is available from every office desk, our 14 area network are joined up in every sense of the word.”

As part of the overall marketing mix, Tanya believes that leafleting to existing and new residents is vital to reinforce their marketing messages and raise brand awareness. Goring-on-Thames was the first office to enlist the distribution services of Dor-2-Dor (Oxford), under the careful campaign management eye of franchise owner Geoff Brown. Geoff’s services were then recommended to Tanya at Davis Tate’s Head Office. Two years on, Geoff is now printing and delivering over 200,000 leaflets annually, marketing a range of creative concepts and key communications on behalf of the successful estate agency network. Although design varies to maintain interest and catch attention, the message is always locally focused using clear visuals to introduce local representatives of the business. The promotional talents of Tanya and her marketing colleagues were recognised in 2011 when Davis Tate won an industry marketing award.

Tanya Wicks said:
“We have been pleased with the results from our leaflet campaigns – it’s an absolute pleasure to work with Geoff from Dor-2-Dor (Oxford); he’s highly personable and professional and provides a cost-effective and reliable service. I have found him to be very efficient and adaptable in his approach to meeting our needs. His detailed reporting and consistent communication with my colleagues and myself sets him and his business apart from other companies we have used previously.”
